Simeon Zaragoza, Alliance for Wellness Program Manager at United Way of San Joaquin County, supports the Director of Community Health in implementing and expanding this regional community care hub. In his role, Simeon works closely with community-based organizations and the CHW workforce to strengthen capacity for Medi-Cal contracting, billing, care coordination, and training in alignment with California’s CalAIM initiative. He assists with technical support, compliance, and operational implementation of Medi-Cal-aligned services, including Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports.
Simeon completed his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from California State University - Stanislaus, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Dartmouth College with a focus on health communications and systems-level strategy.
A proud Central Valley native, Simeon is passionate about advancing healthcare systems and driving operational excellence by building bridges between data, strategy, and impactful solutions.
