In 2002, the CalWORKs Program recognized a need for a comprehensive directory of resources in San Joaquin County. Armed with just a handful of community agency names and phone numbers, we set out to gather information on non-profit organizations, services, and programs across the county. This effort gave birth to the Community Connections Resource Directory, which has since grown to include over 730 programs, and is updated annually—a labor of love, driven by our commitment to the success of our students and the community.
