IT'S LOCAL - Your friends and neighbors carefully review each agency that request United Way funds.
100% OF YOUR DONATION GOES DIRECTLY TO PROGRAMS - United Way of San Joaquin County is an all volunteer effort! One hundred percent (100%) of each dollar that you contribute goes directly to United Way agencies (liability insurance costs, material cost and postage force us to use this small part of your contribution). Other agencies use from 10 to 50 cents of each dollar for fund-raising costs. United Way remains the most cost-effective fund-raising program in the area!
IT'S ONE CAMPAIGN - Instead of having 25 agencies each asking your for a contribution, we have one "United Way" campaign. United Way is a convenient and cost effective way for you to help meet critical human needs in our community. Your contribution stays in our community to help those in need of United Way agency services!
