Campaign

Many opportunities to help.

The major community fundraising event of United Way of San Joaquin County is its annual campaign. The campaign generally begins in September and concludes in December, and is generally conducted in the workplace.

However, there are many ways to participate with a campaign throughout the year.

How to start a campaign at work in 3 easy steps.

For company CEOs, presidents and human resource directors, getting a workplace giving campaign up and running is easy:

Step 1: Call Jennifer Mayer or Sara Somera, Directors of Marketing, through the United Way Campaign Department at 209.469.6980. A United Way campaign staff person will be assigned to your company to keep your investment of resources to a minimum.

Step 2: United Way staff person will help you identify an energetic and enthusiastic Employee Campaign Coordinator within your company to run the program and recruit a winning team of volunteers to market the campaign to fellow employees.

Step 3: Show your support. The best campaigns are those in which company leadership leads by example.
